!400 years ago nobody knew about spacetime however we found it portrayed in the Quran.
When Muslims pray they prostrate to Allah:
They bend down so that their faces become parallel to the ground. Now imagine that they don't bend down but rather the ground curves upward in order to become parallel to their faces. But this is what really happens in stars.
Spacetime curves to become parallel to the star's face. This is because matter tells spacetime how to curve.

This was known recently, however this was portrayed in the Quran 1400 years before it was discovered. The Quran says that stars prostrate to Allah.
And the stars and the trees prostrate.
٦ وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
Today we know that stars prostrate because spacetime itself is curved such that it is parallel to the star's face. This is true for anything that has mass.
