In the Quran there is a tornado containing fire. Skeptics claim that whoever wrote the Quran made a mistake; tornadoes only bring rain or hail, but not fire. Scientists confirm the existence of fire whirls, tornado containing fire.
A fire whirl, also known as fire tornado or fire twister, is created when a wildfire or firestorm creates its own wind, which can turn into a vortex of fire.
Fire Whirl
An extreme example of a fire whirl is the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake in Japan, which ignited a large city-sized firestorm and produced a gigantic fire whirl that killed 38,000 people in fifteen minutes in the Hifukusho-Ato region of Tokyo.
This was known recently, however this was portrayed in the Quran 1400 years before it was discovered:
Would anyone of you like to have a garden of palms and vines, under which rivers flow, with all kinds of fruit in it for him, and old age has stricken him, and he has weak children, then a tornado containing fire burns it? Thus Allah makes clear the signs for you, so that you may reflect.
٢٦٦ أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ مِنْ نَخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ لَهُ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ وَأَصَابَهُ الْكِبَرُ وَلَهُ ذُرِّيَّةٌ ضُعَفَاءُ فَأَصَابَهَا إِعْصَارٌ فِيهِ نَارٌ فَاحْتَرَقَتْ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
"Tornado containing fire" today we know it is a fire whirl. But 1400 years ago they only knew about tornadoes with rain and hail, not fire.
