1400 years ago nobody knew that someday man will fly however it was portrayed in the Quran.
Back then the highest altitude a man could reach was the height that he could jump. But the Quran foretold that man someday will reach the sky.
You cannot escape (Allah's might), on earth or in the sky; and you have no protector and no savior besides Allah.
٢٢ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
Man will reach the sky.
You will ride layer upon layer.
١٩ لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ
"Tabak طبق" is a noun meaning "layer". From this came the myth of flying carpets; but today we know this is aircraft.
